Abbott's Ford is small town in the Four Corners, close to Newarre and Rannish.[1]

In the chronicle

When the Chronicler was robbed of his horse and other various belongings on his way to see Kvothe, the bandit in charge informed him that he could still make Abbott's Ford by dark.[2] He attempted to buy a horse there, offering outrageous prices, but nobody had horses to spare, since it was close to harvest time.

It is a hard day's walk from Abbott's Ford to the outskirts of Newarre.[1]

Abbott's Ford is named for Abbotsford, Wisconsin. Patrick Rothfuss liked the name and worked it into the series.[3]
