Seth is one of the townsfolk who meet Kvothe while he is returning the two kidnapped girls, Krin Walker and Ellie Anwater, to their home. He accused Kvothe of belonging to the fake Edema Ruh Troupe who kidnapped the girls and like the other men in the town he wanted to exact revenge. Just when he was about to hit Kvothe, Krin spoke up for Kvothe. When Mayor Anwater arrived, Seth again tried to accuse Kvothe.[1]
